Terracotta Forge is a community-driven wiki, repository and set of infrastructure services for projects that are utilizing the Terracotta Clustering & Distributed Computing Platform.

There are two kinds of Forge projects: top-level projects and "Labs" projects. Top-level projects will have top-level Open Terracotta infrastructure resources dedicated to them:

• A top-level node in the Terracotta SVN repository
• A dedicated JIRA project on http://jira.terracotta.org/
• A dedicated Confluence space on http://wiki.terracotta.org/
• A top-level forum topic on http://forums.terracotta.org
• Dedicated mailing dev, users, and announce mailing lists on lists.terracotta.org

Top-level projects are subjected to a lightweight vetting process to make sure that they are sound ideas that will be actively worked on.
